Healing Process After Ear Piercing

Welcome to our blog! We understand the importance of caring for your baby's newly pierced ears. Here's a guide to help you through the healing process and ensure your little one's comfort and safety.

Cleaning Routine: It's crucial to keep your baby's piercings clean to prevent infections. Follow these steps twice a day for a minimum of 10 days:

  1. Mix 1 tablespoon of sea salt with 1 cup of distilled water to create a saline solution.

  2. Gently clean the pierced area with the saline solution using a cotton swab or pad.

  3. Pat the area dry with a clean, soft cloth.

What to Avoid: To promote faster healing and avoid complications, here are some things to avoid:

  • Do not use alcohol or hydrogen peroxide on the pierced area as they can slow down the healing process.

  • Keep your baby away from swimming pools for the first few days to prevent exposure to bacteria and chemicals.

  • Refrain from changing the earrings for at least two months to allow the piercing to fully heal.

Continuous Earring Wear: It's essential to keep earrings in your baby's ears at all times for the first year. This helps maintain the shape of the piercing and prevents it from closing.

Additional Product Recommendation: In our boutique, we offer a saline solution with hypochlorous acid spray, which is ideal for cleaning and caring for your baby's pierced ears. This gentle solution helps promote healing without causing irritation.
